Having to do more with less became the inspiration for Wanderlust Bike Rentals and Sales, LLC.  With more people looking for money-saving recreation ideas, a bike rental business in Portsmouth, NH seemed an ideal opportunity to provide tourists and locals alike with the option to leave their cars behind and explore the locality by bicycle. 

Wanderlust Bike Rentals is located at the historic Strawbery Banke Museum on Marcy Street across the street from Freedom Flag Pole and Prescott Park in the South End Neighborhood of Portsmouth, NH.  Wanderlust at Strawbery Banke is the perfect place to begin a self guided tour of the many historic sites, local beaches and parks of Portsmouth, New Castle, Rye, Kittery and beyond.  We even provide maps of some of our favorite routes.  

Wanderlust is currently renting beach cruisers as well as motorized beach cruisers.  The motorized beach cruiser is a standard beach cruiser bicycle equipped with a small gas powered motor that allows the rider to choose to pedal free of the motor or move along at speeds up to 30 mph with the assistance of the little engine.   These motorized bicycles achieve over 100 miles per gallon of gas which places them as an ideal alternative to local travel by car.  Due to limited availabilty, please call ahead if you'd like to rent a motorized beach cruiser.  Motorized beach cruiser's are also available for purchase.  Please contact us for more information.
